My name is Lorelei Murphree, and I'm from Birmingham, Alabama. I attended Samford University and graduated in 2023 with a major in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. With experience in both customer-facing roles and digital content creation, I am confident in my ability to serve as a creative contributor to your brand’s presence. 

As a Brand Representative at Altar’d State, I developed strong interpersonal skills by engaging with customers, anticipating their needs, and creating a positive, memorable experience. This role required clear communication, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities at once—skills that translate directly to multitasking, building rapport with clients, and representing your company with professionalism and warmth. 

In my Marketing Assistant role at R Consulting, I worked on content creation, coordinated campaigns, and tracked engagement metrics to evaluate performance. I also created visual assets and contributed to social media strategy, which strengthened my ability to use tools like Canva to design engaging, on-brand content. I enjoy combining creativity with organization to maintain consistent and effective digital communication. 

Additional roles have strengthened my organization and attention to detail. As a Tutor at The Tutoring Club and a caretaker for Miss Val, I developed strong multitasking skills, reliability, and precision when managing schedules, notes, and client needs. I am comfortable working with using different apps and software and quickly learning new tools, and I take pride in maintaining accurate, well-organized records. 

I am drawn to roles that blend meaningful client interaction with creative work. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and care deeply about being a friendly, professional and respectful person to everyone regardless of their where they're from, status, race, or gender. During my time at Samford, I graduated Magnum Cum Laude, was involved in Tri Delta, the Samford Marching Band, the Samford Crimson, and Spanish Club. Post-grad, I am involved as a volunteer with English Second Language (ESL) and as an ambassador with Steel Country Dancing. 

Some software and apps I have experience with include: Zoom, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro.
